'A Kid Named Bug: Season 2' STREAMING NOW
Emperium's miniseries is back with 5 episodes of fun, tech talk, and problem solving. Anthony 'Bug' Howard played by Dewayne Campbell travels to the future where everything has taken a turn for the worse. Stream today on YouTube.
'PICTURE LOCK' FOR OUR TWO UPCOMING FILMS
In March of this year, we filmed a drama titled 'Tears For Tasha'. This marks the first film from Emperium that was not written by Dom Campbell. The drama was created, written, and directed by Sherrod Pollard also known as Krash Minati. The idea stemmed from a song that was written by Krash in college where he began to take his music career seriously. Since then, he has found great success in the independent space of music and now wants to try his hand at filmmaking. Tears For Tasha is about a teenage woman overcoming adversity, and trauma. The film explores important segments on suicide prevention, coping with tragedy, and finding love. The film stars Ciera Angelia(BET Sisters), first time actress Indya Chanelle, Radio Personality Sean Anthony and rapper Ashad Mitchelle. Backed by Emperium's management team Dom Campbell & Roy Ju, the film is set to release Winter 2023.
In July we also produced a Thriller ' Affliction:Toxic Misery' starring James Perkins from the hit series 'The Dirty D". His character finds himself in a hostage situation where he is being tortured by his social media crush after lying to his girlfriend about leaving town. The film was created by realtor Lee Foster who also co-wrote along with Director Antonio Davis. This marks Antonios 2nd film under Emperium. The film has no release date as of now. WHATS NEXT FOR EMPERIUM STUDIOS
Our letter at the end of 2022 stated the company has pivoted its direction for upcoming releases. We have completed the 2023 slate and now Emperium plans to break out into the theatrical space. Developing and Producing films that are relevant, smart, and entertaining. We also plan to expand on the children and family content by focusing on YouTube Marketing. The overall mission for the company is to centralize the Hollywood culture in the capital of Ohio. Revolutionizing the entertainment scene in the heart of Columbus by providing content that the global market responds to. New talent to break, new partnerships to make, and a new drive to make great projects. Stay tuned for the #EmperiumTakeover
DOM CAMPBELL RETURNS
It has been a year since Dom Campbell has directed a film under Emperium. This time he plans not to be grand with the crew and gear yet take it back to how it was when he first started. After 6 feature films back-to-back, Campbell plans to dial it down as the year comes to an end with a horror short film. The film has a 10-minute runtime and is set to be released on Halloween.
