Emperium Studios, an American TV & Film production studio out of Columbus, Ohio premiered its 5th feature film titled “Her Way” Saturday April 8th 2023. Over 200 people were in attendance for this locally produced movie that screened at the Lennox Phoenix Theatres. This is another Emperium Studios original, with a 1st time director, and distribution partnership with Homestead Entertainment.
Dom Campbell, Executive Producer & CEO of Emperium Studios teams up with Jacob Gaus to back 1st time Director Antonio Davis and his hit Romance/Comedy film. Antonio Davis graduated with a B.A in Digital Cinema Arts from Lindenwood University in St.Louis, MO. With football being at the forefront of his life, filmmaking was the last thing he thought about pursuing but with sports, backup plans are a must. A couple of years after graduating, Antonio found himself with a camera in his hand filming short films, and promotional videos. Now he works with Emperium as a key Director/Producer of feature films, and series. In his latest film “Her Way”, an aspiring entrepreneur uses her four boyfriends to her advantage to help build her business, but things get complicated fast when they all show up to her brother's birthday bash.The film stars Crystal The Doll as Santana, and Daluan Young as Floyd.
Filmed in Central Columbus, Ohio, the movie took 12 production days to film and two months of editing. “Amazing turn out, a night to remember, I'm at a loss for words, but I had a good time, and I got the reaction I wanted from everyone. That S#&% was crazy!” says the director Antonio Davis.
